Vidal Annan Jr.

Vidal Annan Jr., Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist licensed in New Jersey and New York.

Through his work in counseling, consulting, training, and coaching, Dr. Annan helps his clients improve their personal growth and functioning across all areas of their lives including relationships, mental health, and personal goals. He uses a range of evidence-based interventions including cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, and mindfulness-based approaches. In his specialized work with business professionals, Dr. Annan provides guidance on issues such as self-care, executive decision-making, emotional intelligence, and work-life balance. He is also a psychologist at the Behavioral Care Center of New Jersey and Associate Director at the Kean University Office of Counseling, Disability, Alcohol and Other Drug Services in Union, NJ.

He obtained his Ph.D. from Rutgers University with a focus on cognitive processing, and received his clinical training at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Dr. Annan has presented at many prestigious universities and conferences and published papers in the area of cognitive processing and social policy development. Known to his clients as Dr. Vee, he lives in NJ with his wife Nana, who is a lawyer and photographer, and his two teens.
