Richard Snow

Richard Snow is a community advocate, banking, and finance professional with 16 years of experience in the fields of Business Management and Business Development, SBA, and Commercial financing. Richard received an MBA in Business Management from Eastern University. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication with a concentration in Public Relations from the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a minor in economics.

Richard is currently a Vice President, SBA National Franchise Relationship Manager at WSFS Bank. Responsible for creating partnerships providing SBA financing to approved franchise brands throughout the United States of America. He brings 17 years of experience working in various roles within the small business financing industry. Mr. Snow played a crucial role in guiding entrepreneurs in the US and Canadian franchise industry through the complex process of small business lending, successfully funding over $200 million in SBA loans in 2018-2019.

Snow is currently a Board Member for the International Franchise Association Diversity Institute, Member of the African American Chamber of Commerce, the immediate past Board President of The Business Center for Entrepreneurship and NBMBAA Philadelphia Chapter Board Member. Richard was featured in the Franchise World Magazine and National Speaker at the NBMAA Conference in Philadelphia in 2017. Mr. Snow is also the Host of the Smart Start Now Podcast. 

Snow is a strong advocate of franchising, entrepreneurship, leadership development, and financial education. He champions this cause by supporting countless panel discussions, financial education seminars, speaking engagements. By working with financial institutions, non-profit and corporate entities such as IFA, NBMBAA, Operation Hope, OFN, Philadelphia Early Head Start, Philadelphia Futures, USA Careers, H&R Block, and the University of Penn, he is helping to empower the national entrepreneurship landscape and Philadelphia community.

As a speaker/educator at Arcadia's University Black Male Development Symposium, Richard educated attendees about financial strategies and business entrepreneurship. Richard is also a frequent speaker and father mentor for the Health Federation of Philadelphia. Richard believes fellowship with men to discuss issues affecting their development will create success for future generations.

Richard is also a past Adjunct Professor at Gwynedd Mercy University. He facilitated courses in associate and bachelor's degree programs, including Finance, Managerial Finance, Personal Finance, Business Adult Studies, and Economics. Mr. Snow believes that knowledge is the most potent asset gained in a person's self-development.  He and his wife of 13 years, Denise Marie Snow, and two sons, Richard Snow, Jr., and Ryan Daniel Snow reside in the Cherry Hill section of NJ and devoted members of Sharon Baptist Church.
