Missouri native Marc Wilson is the Founder & Creative Director of The Style Marc by MWD Lifestyles.
After a successful career in the home furnishings industry that presented him with the opportunity to travel extensively throughout the United States and Europe, Marc turned his focus toward event production and floral design. You can still see the influences of Marc’s past in the visual aesthetic and meticulous sense of style in his work today.
With over fifteen years of experience, Marc is a New York City Big Apple Award winner. A member of the International Live Events Association, and a Board member of Project Brownstone, a Youth Development Program using Education, art and music to empower Harlem youth and has written for World Bride Magazine.
Marc has become an internationally recognized, upscale event producer and floral designer, with offices in Miami Florida, and Washington DC. The Style Marc is known for transforming venues into classically elegant, stylish and unique environments. From destination weddings, corporate events, family celebrations, fashion events, galas, experiential marketing, meetings and consultancy, Marc and his team are producing events at all levels, with recognitions coming from around the world.
Marc’s work has been published in a variety of media, including: Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, Weddings, Town & Country, L’Officiel Paris, Design Bureau, New York Weddings, Brides, Manhattan, New York Times, Twirl, New York, Essence, Weddings by Design, The Knot, and Brides.
He has designed events for celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Magic Johnson, Gwyneth Paltrow, The Hirshhorn Musem and most recently, on a celebration with the producers of Dear Evan Hanson. The Style Marc portfolio includes work for such institutions and companies as: Rolex, Metropolitan Museum of Art, BMW, DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS, ESPN, Carnegie Hall, Aspire TV, Hugo Boss, Martha Stewart Weddings, MGM Metro Goldwyn Mayer, the New York Mets, AMC (American Movie Classics), Apollo Gala honoring Lionel Richie, Taste of NFL After Party, Central Park Conservancy’s Taste of Summer Gala, and Essence Fierce and Fabulous Awards.
