LaConya Murray

LaConya’s law career began at the age of four when her dad attempted to end their park date earlier than promised. She boldly argued her case, stating, “Kids have rights, too, Dad!” It was then she was introduced to advocacy. When she was 11, she boldly declared to anyone who would listen she would be an attorney. Several years, a husband and two little ones later, I did.

After earning her degree from Jones School of Law in 2010, she worked in small law at a local firm for two years before launching her law practice tailored to helping entrepreneurs and startups protect their business via trademarks, copyrights and contracts. 

She absolutely loves what she does and finds joy in helping innovators take the proper steps to secure their intellectual property -- or as she likes to say, “own their Genius”.

She also enjoys educating entrepreneurs on how to legally protect their ideas, brands and business through her podcast, YouTube channel, books, courses and speaking engagements.
