Keith Cephus is an international wedding and celebrity photographer based in the Virginia Beach.  He has been shooting professionally for more than seventeen years and has traveled the world photographing  weddings in Hawaii, Jamaica, St. Lucia, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Antiqua, Bahamas, Virgin Islands and the exclusive Villa by Barton G at the Versace Mansion in Miami.  

Cephus' work has graced the covers and been featured in numerous publications suck as Munaluchi Bride American Bride, Destination Weddings, Modern Bride, Destination IDO, The Knot, Vow, Essence, Premier Bride and Hampton Roads Bride.  His celebrity clientele include Commander in Chief Barrack Obama, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Micheal Vick,  Grammy Award-winner Chad Hugo,  Defensive Tackle Darryl Tapp., Allen Iverson and Aaron Brooks.  His work has awarded him numerous awards such as: Special Achievement Award from the Virginia Fashion Association,  2013  “Best of Weddings by the Knot, 2012 Brides Choice Awards by Wedding Wire, Photographer of the Year Award for Golden Scissor and the prestigious Two Bright Lights, “2012 Editors’ Choice Award”.  

Cephus  is the Sports Editor for Hampton Roads Magazine.  His sports assignments have taken him to Hawaii where he has photographed the 2011 Pro Bowl.  Others assignments include photographing the Washington Redskins, Washington Nationals, Baltimore Orioles, Charlotte Bobcats, New York Yankees and then bringing the news back to Hampton Roads.  

Cephus’ steadfast work ethic comes from his military background.  He is a 20 year retired  Chief Petty Officer, who truly loves and supports the best military in the world.  

When he’s not shooting photographs, Cephus  is active in the community coaching youth basketball for five years.  During that span, Cephus’ Courthouse Knicks have won four city championships and three undefeated seasons under his steadfast leadership.  Coach Cephus took a bunch of kids who could barely dribble a basketball and turned them into champions.  He currently hold record for the most wins in Courthouse basketball history.  is the addition, Cephus speaks frequently at Virginia Beach schools on topic such as photography and business.  Cephus was the keynote speaker at TNCC for Black History Month in 2011.  He has been selected to speak at this year’s Virginia Beach Photography Club at the Norfolk Marriott in Jan 2013.  He also teaches workshops and is currently working on sponsoring a photography camp for underprivileged children.   Cephus is an active member of the Academic Review Board for the Art Institute of Virginia Beach and a member of the WPPI and the PPA respectfully.
