Enter to Win a Scholarship to the 9th Annual Coterie Retreat in Grand Cayman

Is it just us, or has this year FLOWN by? It seems like we were just in Jamaica announcing the Cayman Islands as the host destination for our 9th annual Coterie Retreat, now we’re just about two months away.

Throughout the past several weeks we have heard from wedding pros from various categories. And the consensus is that this year has been a pretty interesting one. Not only has this year flown by, but many wedding pros have seen a major downturn in bookings. Some experts say this is due to backlogs clearing after the 2022 COVID wedding boom. And others say the decrease in bookings is due to inflation. According to the CEO of Signet - the world’s largest jeweler - “Covid created a temporary disruption in dating. We had predicted that we would see a lull in engagements caused several years ago by Covid.” Read their full interview with CNN here.

Whether you’re experiencing a decrease in bookings or not, 2024 promises to be a big year for engagements and wedding planning. What better way to get ready for the upturn, than to attend a business refresher like The Coterie Retreat this December?

In response to the conversations we’ve been having with vendors, we’re delighted to offer 3 half scholarships to attend the 2023 Coterie Retreat, thanks to our partnership with the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism.
